The fall season is here, and cooler temperatures and shorter days are upon us. As each week passes by,  your lawn grows less and has less need for water. The trees are getting ready for winter and are dropping their leaves which lessens their need for water. Evaporation of moisture in the soil is slowing down and is available for plant uptake. It’s time to reduce the watering schedule on your controller to shorter run times and less frequent days. fall

If you have an existing lawn and landscape, then 2x/week should be adequate. Especially if we receive rain 1 or 2x/week. If you have a new landscape or seeding your lawn, then consult with your landscape contractor for proper watering program.

Winterizing of irrigation systems begins in October and finishes by Mid-November. The weather is unpredictable and can become very cold very quickly. We do not want your system to freeze and break. Irrigation repairs/replacements are expensive. Please do not hesitate to call and make your appointment for winterizing. The schedule fills up fast and you do not want to wait.

Also, Service Agreement renewals for 2023/2024 were sent out September1 and if you received and did not mail back then please do by October 1 to receive a 5% discount.
