The weather is cool and rapidly turning colder. As we move through the fall and approach winter there are several factors that support closing your sprinkler system for the winter.

- It rains 1- 2x/week.
- Soil stays moist due to less evaporation.
- Lawn/turf has slowed its growth.
- Trees and shrubs are shedding their leaves and preparing for winter.
It’s time to close and winterize your sprinkler system! The weather is unpredictable and can change very quickly. It’s not unusual to have freezing temperatures in October and November. Freezing temperatures will damage your sprinkler system. To prevent damage and costly repairs we recommend that you schedule your winterizing as soon as possible.
